The JANSEN® MKB-500E is a self-propelled sweeper equipped with a 6.5 PS 4-stroke OHV gasoline engine. With its working width of 100 cm and a specified working capacity of approx. 4,400 m²/h, it is suitable for cleaning larger areas.

The sweeper is delivered as a complete set including a debris collection bin and snow plow. This allows it to be used for both sweeping and collecting debris as well as for snow removal.

A particular advantage of the JANSEN® MKB-500E is the electric starter with a 12-V battery. A recoil starter is also available. Thanks to 3 forward gears and 1 reverse gear as well as a 6-speed adjustable brush speed, the machine can be adapted to different working conditions.

The JANSEN® MKB-500E is powered by a 4-stroke OHV gasoline engine with 6.5 PS and a displacement of 173 cm³.

It runs on regular gasoline. The fuel tank has a capacity of 1.5 liters.

The specified fuel consumption is approximately 0.5 liters per hour.

Both an electric starter and a recoil starter are available for starting the engine.

Electric starter with 12-V battery and external charger

The JANSEN® MKB-500E features an electric starter powered by a 12-V battery with a capacity of 5 Ah.

The battery, along with the corresponding charger, is included in the scope of delivery.

The charger allows the battery to be charged externally via a 230-V outlet. JANSEN® recommends this charging option especially for maintaining the charge when the machine is not in use for an extended period of time.

A charging socket is provided on the sweeper for connecting the charger. Therefore, the battery does not need to be removed for charging.

Alternatively, the engine can be started at any time using the built-in recoil starter.

100 cm working width and approx. 4,400 m²/h cleaning capacity

With a working width of 100 cm, the JANSEN® MKB-500E is suitable for cleaning larger areas.

The specified cleaning capacity is approximately 4,400 m² per hour.

The sweeping brush has a bristle diameter of 350 mm. The bristle dimensions are 1.0 × 130 mm.

Thanks to the adjustable brush speed, lateral adjustment, and adjustable contact pressure, the sweeper can be adapted to different operating conditions.

Debris collection bin for direct debris pickup

The JANSEN® MKB-500E comes with a debris collection bin.

This container collects the swept-up debris directly, allowing for convenient disposal.

The collection bin measures 100 × 40 × 20 cm (W × L × H).

This allows the sweeper to be used both for sweeping and for directly collecting debris.

Snow plow included – sweeper for winter use

The JANSEN® MKB-500E comes standard with a snow plow.

In the event of light snowfall, the snow can be removed directly with the motorized broom.

If the snow depth is already more than 3–5 cm, JANSEN® recommends using the included snow plow.

The snow plow can be installed without tools. This makes it easy to prepare the sweeper for snow removal tasks.

The JANSEN® MKB-500E features a self-propelled drive with a total of four speed settings.

Three forward speeds

The following speeds are available for forward travel:

One reverse gear

The reverse speed is 2.5 km/h.

In addition, the travel speed can be finely adjusted using the throttle.

Using a centrally mounted crank, both the height and the contact pressure of the brush against the ground can be adjusted.

These adjustment options allow the sweeper to be adapted to the specific operating conditions.
