The JANSEN® MKB-500BS is a self-propelled sweeper equipped with a 5 PS Briggs & Stratton gasoline engine from the 750EX series. With its working width of 100 cm and a rated cleaning capacity of approx. 4,400 m²/h, it is suitable for cleaning larger paved areas.

The sweeper is delivered as a complete set, including a debris collection bin and a snow plow blade. This allows it to be used both for sweeping and collecting debris as well as for snow removal.

Thanks to 3 forward gears and 1 reverse gear, the driving speed can be adjusted to suit the task at hand. The brush speed can be adjusted in 6 levels. Additionally, the brush height, contact pressure, and lateral alignment of the sweeping brush are adjustable.

Briggs & Stratton 750EX Series gasoline engine

The JANSEN® MKB-500BS is powered by a Briggs & Stratton 750EX Series gasoline engine. The engine has a power output of 5 PS and a displacement of 161 cm³.

The engine is started using a recoil starter. Regular gasoline is used as fuel.

The fuel tank holds 1.4 liters. The specified fuel consumption is approx. 0.5 liters per hour.

The throttle can be used to finely adjust the travel speed in addition to the existing transmission gears.

The JANSEN® MKB-500BS comes with a debris collection bin.

Snow plow included – sweeper for winter use

The JANSEN® MKB-500BS comes standard with a snow plow.

In the event of light snowfall, the snow can be swept away directly with the motorized broom.

If the snow depth is already more than 3–5 cm, JANSEN® recommends using the included snow plow.

The snow plow can be installed without tools. This makes it easy to prepare the sweeper for snow removal tasks.

The JANSEN® MKB-500BS features a self-propelled drive with a total of four speed settings.

Three forward speeds

Using a centrally mounted crank, both the height and the contact pressure of the brush against the ground can be adjusted.

Engine Oil and Fuel

Note: The technical specifications in the original manual specify an engine oil quantity of approximately 1 liter, while the delivery instructions state approximately 0.6 liters. The correct oil fill quantity must be verified using the operating manual before starting the machine.
