The JANSEN® RD-1000 is a powerful tracked dumper with a maximum payload of 1,000 kg. A particular strength of this machine is the hydraulic 3-way tipping body: Depending on the pin configuration, the load can be tipped backward or to either side.

Power is provided by a Vanguard® (Briggs & Stratton) 4-stroke gasoline engine with 14 PS / 10.4 kW. The engine features an electric starter and a recoil starter, as well as an integrated cyclone air filter. In combination with the hydrostatic drive with two motors, the RD-1000 can be controlled continuously and maneuvered with precision.

Despite its high payload, the tracked dumper remains compact with a total width of only approx. 80 cm. The robust tracked undercarriage, ground clearance, and specified climbing ability of up to 20° enable versatile use on construction sites, in gardening and landscaping, and on rough terrain.

Hydraulic 3-way tipping body

A key feature of the JANSEN® RD-1000 is the hydraulic 3-way tipping body. Unlike a body that tips exclusively forward or backward, this one—depending on the corresponding pin configuration—can be tipped in three directions.

This allows the cargo to be unloaded specifically toward the rear or to either side, depending on the work situation. Especially in tight spaces or on construction sites, this feature can make it easier to position the machine during unloading.

The dump bed measures approximately 103 x 67 x 46 cm (L x W x H). The hydraulic system handles both raising and lowering the dump body.

Hydrostatic Drive

The RD-1000 features a hydrostatic drive with two motors. Unlike a conventional manual transmission, the hydrostatic drive allows for stepless control of the vehicle’s movement.

This enables the machine to be controlled with great sensitivity and maneuvered precisely even in tight spaces. The drive system also facilitates turning in tight spaces.

14 PS Vanguard® Engine

Power is provided by a Vanguard® (Briggs & Stratton) 4-stroke gasoline engine with 14 PS / 10.4 kW. The engine is equipped with both an electric starter and a recoil starter.

The fuel used is regular gasoline. The fuel tank has a capacity of approximately 6.1 liters.

The equipment also includes an integrated cyclone air filter. This is specifically designed for use in dusty working conditions.

TransportGuard™ System

The RD-1000’s Vanguard® engine is equipped with the TransportGuard™ System. When the 3-in-1 control is switched to the STOP position, both the engine ignition and the fuel supply are shut off simultaneously.

A separate conventional fuel valve is therefore not required for this engine.

Hydraulic system with 160 bar

The hydraulic system in the RD-1000 handles both the hydrostatic drive and the operation of the tipping body.

The installed gear pump operates at up to 160 bar. The specified flow rate is 36 l/min. The hydraulic unit is air-cooled.

A hydraulic cylinder is used to raise and lower the dump bed. In combination with the 3-side tipping function, the cargo can be unloaded in different directions depending on how it is secured.

Compact width of only approx. 80 cm

Despite a maximum payload of 1,000 kg, the JANSEN® RD-1000 has a total width of only approx. 80 cm. The dimensions when assembled are approx. 220 x 80 x 104 cm (L x W x H).

The compact design facilitates use on narrow paths and in areas with limited space. Before driving through narrow passages, their actual dimensions and sufficient safety clearances should be checked.

Caterpillar track for challenging terrain

The RD-1000’s track drive is equipped with tracks approximately 180 mm wide. A track tensioning device is also included.

The ground clearance is approximately 170 mm at the front and approximately 140 mm at the rear. Together with the hydrostatic drive, the track drive supports operation on varied and uneven terrain.

The specified maximum gradeability is up to 20°. When working on inclines and declines, the load, ground conditions, center of gravity, and driving style must be taken into account accordingly.

Folding Operator Platform

The JANSEN® RD-1000 features a sturdy folding operator platform. It allows the operator to ride on the machine during certain trips.

If the operator platform is not needed, it can be folded upward. This makes the machine more compact to operate, especially when working in tight spaces.

Delivery & Commissioning

The JANSEN® RD-1000 is delivered well-packaged on a wooden pallet. You should plan on approximately 30 minutes for commissioning.

The engine requires approximately 1 liter of 10W40 or 15W40 engine oil. The engine oil is filled through the large filler neck. The correct engine oil level must be checked with the dipstick before initial startup.

IMPORTANT: The hydraulic oil level must also be checked before initial operation and topped off with HLP-46 hydraulic oil if necessary.

To lubricate the cylinder, you will need a hand-operated grease gun.
