JANSEN® RD-600 Tracked Dump Truck – 600 kg Payload & Hydrostatic Drive
The JANSEN® RD-600 is a self-propelled crawler dumper with hydrostatic drive and a maximum payload of 600 kg on level terrain. The hydrostatic drive system allows for stepless adjustment of travel speed, thereby facilitating controlled operation during a variety of transport tasks.
Power is provided by a Vanguard® 4-stroke gasoline engine from Briggs & Stratton with 14 PS / 10.4 kW. The engine features an integrated cyclone air filter and can be started conveniently either via an electric starter or a pull-start cord.

Hydrostatic drive
The JANSEN® RD-600 features a hydrostatic drive system. Unlike a conventional manual transmission, the hydrostat allows for stepless regulation of travel speed.
This allows the speed to be adjusted to the specific work situation and the nature of the ground. The system also enables starting from a standstill under load and is characterized by direct power transmission and low maintenance requirements.

Hydraulic tipping bed with a tipping angle of more than 90°
The RD-600 is equipped with a hydraulically tipping bed. The hydraulic system raises and lowers the body, facilitating convenient unloading of the transported material.
The tilt angle is more than 90°. This allows the body to be tilted far back, which is particularly advantageous when unloading bulk materials.
The reinforced bed has a wall thickness of 3 mm. Its dimensions are approximately 1,330 x 620 x 680 mm (L x W x H).
14 PS Vanguard® engine from Briggs & Stratton
Power is provided by a Vanguard® 4-stroke gasoline engine from Briggs & Stratton with an output of 14 PS or 10.4 kW.
The engine runs on regular gasoline and features both an electric starter and an additional recoil starter. The fuel tank has a capacity of 6.6 liters.
The engine is also equipped with an integrated cyclone air filter.
Crawler Undercarriage for Various Terrains
The crawler undercarriage enhances the RD-600’s traction and stability on various terrains. As a result, the crawler dumper is designed for transport tasks on uneven, muddy, or sloped surfaces, for example.
The ground clearance is approximately 145 mm at the front and 170 mm at the rear. With a machine width of only approximately 810 mm, the tracked dumper remains compact despite its payload of up to 600 kg.

Delivery & Commissioning
The unit is delivered well-packaged on a wooden pallet. You should allow approximately 30 minutes for commissioning.
IMPORTANT: The hydraulic oil level must be checked before initial startup and topped off with HLP-46 hydraulic oil if necessary. Likewise, the engine oil level must be checked before initial operation and topped off with 10W40 or 15W40 engine oil if necessary. The engine requires approximately 1 liter of engine oil. Unleaded gasoline is used as fuel.

Dumper RD 600
Habe den Dumper nun fast einem Jahr im Privatgarten im Einsatz. Sehr gut gefällt mir der Hydrostatantrieb mit dem man mühelos die kleinsten Fahrmanöver präzise durchführen kann. Die Maschine gefällt und ist wie in der Beschreibung beschrieben. Lediglich das Ölwechseln ist eine größere Schmierei, weil die Ölablassöffnung direkt über einer Bodenplatte ist und man deshalb das Öl nich auffangen kann, sondern über die Platte irgendwo nach unten tropft, das ist fast eine Fehlkonstruktion und könnte leicht geändert werden.
Ansonsten alles topp und zu empfehlen!

Dumper RD 600

Lieferung war recht zügig, Öl und Benzin rein und los gings. Die hydraulische Steuerung geht butterweich und präzise, der elektrische Anlasser ist recht komfortabel. Die Maschine ist insgesamt sehr stabil. Ist wie ich es mir gewünscht hatte und ich bereue es nicht, doch das nicht günstigste Gerät genommen zu haben, gerade wegen dem Hydrostatantrieb. Ein Betriebsstundenzähler wäre vielleicht noch eine gute Ergänzung. Alles topp.

RD 600 Dumper wurde neu gekauft, da ich doch einiges an Material bewegen muss. Es ist der dritte Kettendumper in meinem Besitz, davor RD 500, davor einer mit mechanischen Getriebe. Positiv ist der Hydrostat, der ein wenig Übung braucht um ruckelfrei von A nach B zu kommen, dies ist aber beim RD 500 genauso gewesen. Der große Motor hat schon ordentlich Kraft und man kommt auch überall hin, wohin man will. Steigungen bewältigt er problemlos, vorausgesetzt, man fährt diese mit der Schnauze nach oben, hoch oder runter. Fährt man rückwärts Steigungen hoch, fließt das Hydrauliköl weg von der Hydraulikpumpe und der Dumper kommt ins ruckeln. Daher Nase immer nach oben ;-).
Der Tritt als Mitfahrgelegenheit ist ok, der RD 500 hat kleine Gasdämpfer verbaut, der RD 600 zwei billige Spiralfedern an Bolzen. Mulde ist um ein ganz gutes Stück größer, als beim RD 500. Passt eine Menge rein, ob er die 600kg dann auch heben kann, habe ich noch nicht getestet! Wobei mir die Position / Winkel des Zylinders bei so einer Belastung als nicht ideal erscheint.
Ein großer und gravierender Minuspunkt, wie schon hier bemängelt, ist das Wechseln des Motoröls. Es könnte doch so einfach sein, beim RD 500 gab es auch eine (nicht ideale) Möglichkeit. Ein Loch in einem Stück Blech kostet nicht die Welt, für mich nicht nachvollziehbar zu diesem Preis.
Bin selbst Maschinenbauer und habe schon einiges gesehen, die Schweißnähte am Dumper sehen alles andere als (Made in Germany) aus. Der Chokehebel, bzw. Stab hält wahrscheinlich nur die Garantiezeit aus.
Ein weiteres Manko ist, dass die Seilzüge hervorstehen, dies ist beim Rangieren im Wald nicht ideal, wenn sich ein Ast dazwischen mogelt. Ist beim RD 500 durch die Vollverkleidung besser!
Hydraulikstand messen, auch nicht gut, ist beim RD 500 komfortabler.
Im großen und ganzen ist der RD 600 okay und macht was er soll, jedoch nicht ganz durchdacht.

im großen und ganzen bin ich mit der Leistung zufrieden. Die Bewertung kommt unter folgenden Punkten zustande.
1.) es gibt für den Motor nur eine englische und spanische Beschreibung, keine auf Deutsch! kaufe aber von einer Deutschen Firma, wo es diese auch auf Nachfrage nicht gab!
2.) schwerwigend ist, dass es beim Motorölwechsel eine große sauerei gibt. man kann das Öl nicht geziehlt ablassen.
3.) die verarbeitung genauigkeit der Kippwanne und Zylinderlaschen lässt zu wünschen übrig.

Der RD-600 ist nicht zu bremsen, hat Kraft wie kein anderer. Zudem ist er als Hydrostat genial zum bedienen. Kein Getriebe und haufenweise mechanischen Humbuk. Wirklich das was es braucht. Motor-Hydraulikpumpe-Hydraulikmotor-einfache Bedieneinheit und los geht es . Super Raupendumper, zuverlässig und robust. Ich habe auch schon mit anderen Modellen versucht zu arbeiten, das war aber nichts gegen den RD-600. Bravo Jansen-Team. Gruss aus der Zentralschweiz.
