The JANSEN® TS-12E is a powerful electric log splitter with a maximum splitting force of 12 metric tons. With a splitting length of up to 100 cm, a powerful 400V electric motor with 3.3 kW, and a standard log lifter, it offers a robust solution for firewood processing.

The TS-12E operates in an upright position. This allows even longer and heavier logs to be processed without having to lift them onto an elevated work surface. The integrated log lifter provides additional support for raising heavy pieces of wood.

Thanks to its electric drive, the log splitter operates without local exhaust emissions and requires neither gasoline nor an internal combustion engine. A suitable 400V power connection is required for operation.

12 metric tons of splitting force & up to 100 cm splitting length

The JANSEN® TS-12E achieves a maximum splitting force of 12 metric tons and is designed for logs up to 100 cm in length.

The splitting wedge requires approximately 5 seconds for the forward stroke. The return stroke takes approximately 15 seconds. The cylinder stroke limit can be adjusted to accommodate the respective log length.

400V electric motor with 3.3 kW

Power is provided by a 400V electric motor with 3.3 kW of power. This makes the TS-12E particularly suitable for locations where a corresponding 400V power connection is available.

The electric drive requires no fuel and produces no local exhaust emissions during operation.

Log lifter included as standard

The JANSEN® TS-12E comes standard with a log lifter. This makes it easier to raise heavy logs and assists in positioning the wood for splitting.

If the log lifter is not needed, it can be locked in the upper position, where it serves as a second safety bar.

Mobile at the Work Site

The log splitter is equipped with sturdy wheels, allowing it to be moved to the work site. Despite its weight of approximately 180 kg, the TS-12E can thus be positioned, for example, in a yard, on a property, or at a firewood storage area.

Safety & EN 609:2017

The JANSEN® TS-12E is manufactured and produced in accordance with the EU product safety standard EN 609:2017.

Important: A splitting cross is included with the wood splitter. However, within the European Union, this must not be used when operating the wood splitter, as EN 609:2017 does not permit the use of multiple splitting wedges or splitting crosses with wood splitters.

Delivery & Commissioning

The JANSEN® TS-12E is delivered well-protected and in an upright position. Allow approximately 90 minutes for final assembly and commissioning.

A German operating manual and an exploded view diagram are included in the scope of delivery. Hydraulic oil of the HLP46 classification is used for the hydraulic system. The required amount of hydraulic oil is approx. 5 liters.

Note on the transport support: The transport support included with delivery is intended solely to support the cylinder during shipping. It must be removed after the initial setup of the log splitter and replaced, in accordance with the specifications, with a suitable log, for example.
