The JANSEN® JSK-350 is a hydraulically driven cone splitter designed for splitting tree trunks and tree roots. This model is supplied as a complete set with an MS-01 mounting bracket for attachment to a suitable mini-excavator.

The 350 mm-long splitting cone is made of hardened steel and features a replaceable cone tip. The hydraulic drive achieves a torque of 370 Nm and is powered by the hydraulic system of the respective carrier vehicle.

Depending on the wood’s composition and length, the JSK-350 is designed to process logs with a diameter of up to 50 cm. In addition, the unit can also be used as an soil auger with optionally available auger bits.

350 mm splitting cone made of hardened steel

The central working tool of the JANSEN® JSK-350 is the 350 mm long splitting cone made of hardened steel. The splitting cone mount has a diameter of 51 mm.

The tip of the splitting cone is replaceable. This allows the tip to be replaced separately when it wears out.

The splitting cone itself weighs approximately 12 kg.

Up to 50 cm log diameter

Depending on the wood’s properties and length, the JANSEN® JSK-350 can process logs with a maximum diameter of up to 50 cm.

The rotating splitting cone cuts into the wood and splits it through its rotational movement. The actual splitting is performed by the hydraulically driven cone.

Hydraulic drive with 370 Nm of torque

The hydraulic motor required for operation is included in the scope of delivery. It achieves a torque of 370 Nm.

The rotational speed ranges—depending on the available flow rate—between 5 and 300 rpm. The maximum operating pressure is 140 bar.

Operation requires an oil flow rate of 15 to 60 liters per minute. An additional oil drain line is not required.

MS-01 Mounting Bracket Included

This version of the JANSEN® JSK-350 is supplied with an MS-01 mounting bracket and is therefore designed for attachment to a compatible mini-excavator.

Before use, both the mechanical compatibility of the MS-01 mounting and the hydraulic performance specifications of the intended mini-excavator should be checked.

In addition to this variant, the JANSEN® JSK-350 is also available in other versions with MS-03 mounting or a variant for the pallet fork.

Matching hydraulic hoses included

In addition to the hydraulic motor, the matching hydraulic hoses are also included in the scope of delivery. This means that essential components for the hydraulic supply of the cone splitter are already part of the complete set.

For operation, the carrier vehicle must meet the required hydraulic specifications of a maximum 140 bar operating pressure and an oil flow rate of 15 to 60 l/min.

Optionally usable as an earth auger

A special feature of the JANSEN® JSK-350 is the ability to use the unit as an ground drill with optionally available augers.

Augers in various diameters are available for this purpose:

The earth augers for the JANSEN® tractor-mounted drilling rigs TBG-100 and TBG-200 can be used on the JSK-350. The augers are sold separately.

Important: When using the optionally available drilling unit, the fixing adapter of the cone splitter must be removed.
