The hydraulic system is designed so that the splitting wedge can be stopped at any position and moved forward or backward flexibly. The force is always applied – the wedge does not need to return to its starting position as with many other machines.

The splitting force is measured directly at the wedge. This means that the specified 12 tons correspond to the actual effective splitting force.

For transport, the log splitter is equipped with a drawbar and hitch. However, it is not approved for road use – transport on public roads is therefore not permitted. Alternatively, the splitter can easily be loaded onto a trailer using ramps.

The scope of delivery also includes a splitting cross, which can be easily slid over the splitting wedge. Switching between wedge and cross is therefore possible within seconds.

Delivery & assembly

Delivered disassembled – easy assembly with instructions.

The unit is delivered well packed and disassembled in a sturdy wooden crate. Approximately 2 hours should be planned for final assembly. A German instruction manual is included.

Assembly is straightforward and usually not a problem. If assistance is required, we are happy to help.

Please note: For initial filling, you will need approx. 7 liters of hydraulic oil. A hydraulic oil of classification HLP46 is recommended.
