The Jansen® verge flail mower in light-duty version is a side-shiftable and angle-adjustable flail mower for tractors from 24 HP. It was specially developed for users who require a compact, maneuverable and power-efficient mulching unit for smaller tractors. Compared to heavy professional versions, this model is lighter in construction, easier to handle and ideal for regular use around yards, meadows, ditches and embankments.

Flexible in Use – Side Shift and Angle Adjustable

Thanks to offset and tilt adjustment, you can reach ditches, riverbanks, field edges and slopes where conventional rear mowers reach their limits.

The side shift function allows flexible operation – ideal for mowing ditches, embankments, field edges and hard-to-access areas. The tilt can be conveniently adjusted to reliably mow even steep slopes.

Drive & Adjustment

The mower is powered via the supplied PTO shaft and can be swung to the right as well as angled upward and downward.

Hydraulic connections on the tractor (2x double-acting) are required, as the mower uses hydraulic cylinders for offset and tilt adjustment. If you choose the optional additional kit, only 1x double-acting hydraulic connection plus 1x 12 Volt electrical connection is required (plug not included).

Clean Mulching with Low Power Requirement

Adjustable cutting height, reliable shredding and smooth rotor operation – ideal for smaller tractors.

The cutting height can be easily adjusted via the side skids and the sturdy rear roller. The 20 installed 400 g hammer flails reliably shred grass, weeds and light brush.

The rotor is designed for smooth operation and requires comparatively low power.

Delivery and Assembly

Delivered disassembled in a wooden crate – assembly manageable with basic mechanical skills, ideally by two persons.

The mower is delivered in a sturdy wooden crate and is disassembled for transport. Assembly is manageable with some mechanical experience – ideally by two people. A ceiling crane or tractor with front loader may be helpful to lift the mower out of the transport box. Please allow approx. 1–2 hours for final assembly. A German instruction manual and exploded parts diagram are included. If assistance is required, we are happy to help by phone. The gearbox is delivered dry and must be filled with oil (80W90, approx. 1.2 liters) before initial operation.
