Not all materials are equally suitable for a garden shredder.

A wood chipper is not ideally suited for very needle-like or fibrous material such as fir, spruce or thuja. Even with willow, the desired shredding result may not be achieved. These types of wood are generally too soft for feed rollers and flywheels, which may result in reduced performance.
