Important Information – Suitable Materials

A wood chipper is not ideally suited for very fibrous or needle-heavy materials such as fir, spruce or thuja. Similar limitations apply to willow wood. These materials are often too soft for feed rollers and flywheel systems.

Mixing in harder branches or processing thicker material can improve results.

Garden shredders are not designed to produce standardized wood chips required for biomass heating systems. Specialized industrial chippers are required for that purpose.
