The two hydraulic feed rollers handle the complete feeding process automatically. This allows for significantly more comfortable and efficient operation.

The feed speed can be continuously adjusted to match the material being processed. Smaller branches can be fed more quickly, while larger material can be processed at a reduced speed.

If a blockage should occur, the feed system can be stopped immediately or switched to reverse using the large safety bar.

A single-acting hydraulic circuit with pressure-free return line is required.

Like all tractor chippers, the BX-42RS is only partially suitable for very soft, needle-like or fibrous materials such as thuja, spruce, fir or willow.

The machine is also not intended for producing standardized wood chips for biomass heating systems. Chip size varies depending on the material and operating conditions.
