JANSEN® JX-102RS Wood Chipper – tractor shredder with hydraulic feed & 90 cm flywheel

The JANSEN® JX-102RS expands our shredder range with a powerful tractor-driven wood chipper with hydraulic feed. Thanks to the two feed rollers, tedious pushing or forcing of material is a thing of the past.

The speed of the feed rollers can be continuously adjusted via a control valve. This allows the feed rate to be optimally adapted to the diameter of the material – smaller branches are pulled in faster, larger ones more controlled.

Hydraulic feed with maximum control

The feed system is powered by the tractor hydraulics. Required are:

• 1x pressure line and 1x return line without pressure or
• a double-acting control unit

Efficient operation is possible from a hydraulic flow of approx. 10 l/min.

If a blockage occurs, the feed can be immediately stopped or reversed using the large safety bar on the hopper.

The heart of the machine is a massive flywheel with a diameter of 90 cm and a weight of approx. 120 kg. This generates enormous suction and ensures a constant material flow.

Important to know – material suitability

Not all materials are equally suitable.

A tractor chipper is not ideal for needle-like or fibrous materials such as:

• Fir
• Spruce
• Thuja
• Willow

These materials are often too soft for the feed rollers and flywheel, which can reduce performance.

This chipper is also not suitable for producing standardized wood chips (e.g. for heating systems), as chip size may vary.

The machine is delivered well packaged in a sturdy steel frame. Approximately 1 hour should be planned for final assembly.
