The JANSEN® JX-102RS is a particularly powerful tractor-mounted wood chipper with hydraulic feed, designed for the efficient shredding of large quantities of branches and wood. The feed speed can be continuously adjusted via a control valve and optimally adapted to the respective branch diameter. Smaller branches can be fed in more quickly, while larger pieces of wood are processed in a controlled and even manner.

Hydraulic feed for high operating comfort

The two hydraulically driven feed rollers automatically pick up the material and ensure even feeding. The speed can be continuously adjusted at any time via the control valve to suit the material being processed.

If a blockage does occur, the feed can be stopped immediately or switched to reverse using the large safety bar on the feed hopper. This allows the material to be cleared quickly.

A hydraulic flow rate of approximately 10 l/min is sufficient for operation. A pressurized supply line and a non-pressurized return line are required, or alternatively, a double-acting control unit.

The vanes mounted on the flywheel generate a strong airflow that reliably conveys the shredded material through the discharge chute and virtually eliminates clogs.

Large feed hopper for convenient operation

The generously sized feed hopper has an opening of 114 × 75 cm. At the bottom, the feed opening measures 39 × 26 cm and ensures safe material feeding.

Depending on the type and condition of the wood, the wood chipper processes fresh wood up to a diameter of approximately 180–200 mm.

For transport, the rear section of the feed hopper can be easily folded up and securely locked.

High discharge capacity

The discharge chute can be rotated 180°. Additionally, the discharge angle can be individually adjusted.

With an ejection height of approximately 265 cm and a throw distance of up to 10 meters, the JX-102RS is ideal for directly loading trailers or collection points.

Safe Power Transmission

The wood chipper comes with a PTO shaft. It features an integrated shear pin that acts as a predetermined breaking point in the event of overload or blockages, thereby protecting both the machine and the tractor.

This allows the JX-102RS to be operated without any problems even with more powerful tractors rated at over 100 PS.

Important Notes on Material Suitability

The JANSEN® JX-102RS is ideally suited for woody branches and shrubbery.

Very soft or highly fibrous materials such as thuja, spruce, fir, or willow can impair the feed performance and result in reduced chipping efficiency. Mixing in harder branches can often improve the results.

The chipper is not designed for the production of standardized wood chips, such as those required for wood chip heating systems.

Delivery & Assembly
