Hydraulic feed for comfortable operation

The two hydraulically driven feed rollers automatically pick up the material and feed it evenly into the cutting unit. The feed speed can be continuously adjusted to the respective branch diameter via a control valve.

Should the material become jammed, the feed can be immediately stopped or switched to reverse using the large safety bar on the feed hopper. This allows blockages to be cleared quickly and easily.

A hydraulic flow rate of approximately 10 l/min is sufficient to operate the feed rollers. A pressurized supply line and a non-pressurized return line are required, or alternatively, a double-acting control valve.

For transport, the rear section of the feed hopper can be easily folded up and securely locked in place.

High discharge capacity

The discharge chute can be rotated 180°, and the discharge angle can be easily adjusted.

With a discharge height of approximately 210 cm and a throw distance of up to 5 meters, the wood chipper is ideal for directly loading trailers.

Safe Power Transmission

The wood chipper comes with a PTO shaft. It features an integrated shear pin that acts as a predetermined breaking point in the event of overload or blockages, thereby protecting the drive and the machine.

Important Notes on Material Suitability

As with all tractor-mounted shredders, the JANSEN® JX-72RS is primarily suitable for woody cuttings.

Very soft or highly fibrous materials such as thuja, spruce, fir, or willow can impair the feed mechanism and result in reduced chipping performance. Mixing in harder branches often improves material flow.

The JX-72RS is not designed for the production of standardized wood chips, such as those required for wood chip heating systems.
