The JANSEN® EFGC-220 stands out for its particularly robust construction and features a specially reinforced bevel gearbox. It is ideal as a mulching mower for meadows, pastures, fallow land, orchards, and many other green spaces.

With a working width of 216 cm and its solid construction, the flail mower is ideal for demanding mowing tasks. The PTO shaft included in the scope of delivery ensures reliable power transmission from the tractor to the mower.

Robust construction for reliable mulching results

The JANSEN® EFGC-220 features the heaviest gearbox in its class. Combined with the solid flail shaft and heavy hammer flails, this creates a high flywheel mass that ensures excellent mulching results.

Even tractors with as little as 50 PS can reliably operate the mulcher. It is attached via a Category I three-point hitch.

36 hammer blades for perfect mulching results

The 36 specially hardened hammer blades, each weighing approximately 0.8 kg, reliably and cleanly shred grass, bushy vegetation, straw, and light woody material.

Even very tall grass and challenging cutting material are efficiently processed and finely shredded.

Double-spiral rotor for smooth operation

The integrated double-spiral rotor ensures particularly smooth operation thanks to its even rotor load and reduces vibrations during operation.

This protects the drive components while ensuring consistent mulching results.

Well-Designed Features

The EFGC-220 comes standard with a heavy-duty trailing roller and a free-wheel transmission. The cutting height can be conveniently adjusted via the side-mounted skids.

Pendulum-suspended, galvanized slats at the front prevent stones or other cut material from escaping and increase workplace safety.

Maintenance-Friendly Design

The generously sized maintenance hatch provides quick access to the flail shaft. This makes maintenance work and the replacement of individual flails particularly easy.

Note: According to German occupational safety regulations (UVV), the maintenance hatch must remain closed during mowing operations to prevent stones or foreign objects from escaping.

Delivery & Assembly

The flail mower is delivered securely packaged and disassembled in a sturdy wooden crate.

Allow approximately 2 hours for final assembly. A German operating manual and an exploded view diagram are, of course, included in the scope of delivery.

Assembly is straightforward, but we recommend that two people perform the installation.

Important notes before commissioning:

• The top link pin is not included in the scope of delivery.
• The transmission is shipped dry and must be filled with approximately 1.3 liters of transmission oil (80W90) before use.
• The drive shaft also requires approximately 0.6 liters of gear oil (80W90).
