Versatile combination for mulching and hedge trimming

The extension arm of the JANSEN® HMS-100/180 is ideal for mowing and mulching slopes, ditches, and forest and roadside areas. The 100 cm wide mulching head features 20 pendulum-suspended Y-blades that cleanly cut and reliably shred the cut material.

The package also includes a hedge trimmer / mowing bar with a 180 cm working width. This can be swapped out for the mulcher as needed and allows for fast, clean, and effortless trimming of large hedges.

The material to be cut by the mowing bar may have a diameter of up to 2.5 cm.

Dedicated hydraulic system with a 55-liter oil tank

The machine features its own hydraulic oil tank with a capacity of 55 liters. Operation requires only your tractor’s PTO connection with 540 rpm.

The appropriate PTO shaft is included in the scope of delivery. The control valve’s hose assembly with the control levers is long enough to be mounted in a suitable and easily accessible location on the tractor.

Attachment to Small and Compact Tractors

The unit is attached to your tractor’s rear three-point hitch via a Cat. 1 hitch. Due to its low weight, the unit is particularly suitable for small and compact tractors with a minimum of 25 PS.

A height-adjustable trailing roller at the rear of the mulcher, as well as height-adjustable skids, allow you to adjust the cutting height.

Delivery & Installation

The unit is delivered well-packaged and partially disassembled in a steel frame. Approximately 2 to 3 hours should be scheduled for final assembly and commissioning.

Approx. 40 to 50 liters of hydraulic oil are required for the initial fill. A hydraulic oil with the classification HLP46 is recommended.
