Versatile combination for mulching and hedge trimming

The extension arm of the JANSEN® HMS-80/180 is ideal for mowing and mulching embankments, ditches, and forest and roadside areas. The 80 cm wide mulching head features 16 pendulum-suspended Y-blades, which ensure a clean cut and optimal shredding of the cut material.

The package also includes a hedge trimmer / mowing bar with a 180 cm working width. This can be swapped out for the mulching head as needed and allows for quick and clean cutting of large hedges.

The material to be cut may have a diameter of up to 2.5 cm when using the mowing bar.

Dedicated hydraulic system with a 55-liter oil tank

The machine is mounted to the Cat. 1 three-point hitch of your tractor and features its own hydraulic oil tank with a capacity of 55 liters. The only power source required is your tractor’s PTO shaft running at 540 rpm.

The appropriate PTO shaft is included in the scope of delivery. Thanks to the sufficiently long hydraulic hoses, the control valve with lever assembly can be conveniently mounted on the tractor.

Delivery & Assembly

The unit is delivered well-packaged and partially disassembled in a sturdy steel frame. Allow approximately 2 to 3 hours for final assembly and commissioning.

For the initial fill, an additional approx. 40 to 50 liters of hydraulic oil is required. We recommend using a hydraulic oil with the classification HLP46.
