Flail mower Jansen EFGCH-175 with hydraulic sideshift
The flail mower has a mowing width of 172 cm and is driven using a P.T.O, included as part of the delivery.
By using the lateral traverse function the mower can be moved to both left and right. For this function you need a hydraulic control circuit on your tractor, as the mower unit has a double-action hydraulic cylinder for this purpose.
Due to the open rear bonnet maintenance work or changing hammer blades will be facilitated. Please be informed that the bonnet has to be closed while operating.
This mower unit has the most heavy-duty gearbox in its class. Unlike mower units equipped with light Y blades, this mower has high inertia generated by the heavy hammer blades and heavy shaft. This allows our machine to perform better.
The 28 specially hardened, 0.8 kg hammer blades, arranged on a double spiral drive shaft, shred clippings to a minimum size. Even very high grass, bushy or straw-like clippings are no problem for this mower!
The mulcher additionally has a trailing roller and a freewheel gearbox. The cutting height can be set with the top controller and runners mounted on the side. The suspended, galvanised slats at the front of the mower unit prevent stones escaping.
The mower unit is hung using the three point linkage of your tractor (from Cat. I. upwards). Your tractor should have at least 30HP.

Ich möchte nach fast 2 jährigem Einsatz eine kurzes Feedback abgeben, ist ja in wenigen Monaten wieder Mähsaison und bei der Kälte findet man ein wenig Zeit auch mal etwas zu schreiben: Ich benutze das Gerät in meinem hobbymäßigen Obstanbau (allerdings ziemlich groß), wobei die Seitenverschiebung einfach super funktioniert und einfach zu handeln ist, so kann man schnell mal um den einen oder anderen Baum fahren und bleibt variabel. Aufgebaut ist die Maschine in ca. 3 h, ich hatte vorher angerufen und das Team von Jansen war superkompetent, ich wollte eigentlich eine größere Maschine aber aufgrund der Leistung meines Traktors habe ich mich für das kleinere (und auch optimalere für meine Zwecke) Modell entscheiden. Das Mähwerk schafft auch größere Maulwurfshügel (immer mal wieder verteilt auf der Wiese) und dickere Sträucher welche am Streuwiesenrand wachsen (Geschwindigkeit muss dann angepasst werden). Eine tolle robuste Maschine zu einem fairen Preis und einer super Beratung durch das Jansen Team.
